A Thought for Today
It is a wondrous thing to have a country you can love.

Bill Rimmer asked to see this flight plan again.
SEVEN WAYS TO CLEAN THE WELL
Remove the rubbish; around us, inside of us. Begin to think of nature as something sacred, not just something there. Start practicing morality. If that's too difficult, begin inventing a new morality; but hurry, the muck is getting thicker every day.
Be serious. about everything, including having fun. Stop pretending to be ecologically innocent. By now we shouldn't need the pamphlets anymore, just one good look around. Be our brother's keeper. He isn't doing any better than we are.
Develop a philosophy of wholeness. The total whole. Everything a social, metaphysical, natural absolute. .Nothing standing free or by itself. All things dependent. .Interdependent. Dare I suggest: get involved? Remove the rubbish.

SATURDAY NIGHT, 24th FEBRUARY
The days couldn't be busier. Lots of E-mail's, FedEx's and faxes traveling back and forth from here to Asia correcting minor mistakes and trying to keep up with quality control on the ASPTL 2CD/Book set. My co-producer Steve Ann is doing a wonderful job of pulling it all together on the Korean end & I received the latest prototype for the set on
Friday. A few last minute corrections and it should be in production this week with copies available by air for the two concerts.
The balance of the first order will be in the states in time to go on sale April 15th at Stanyan By Mail
Rehearsals tomorrow & Wednesday for the Concerts and on Thursday a sound check and dress rehearsal at Cal State for the AIDS Benefit of "Jerome Kern's Life Upon The Wicked Stage" on the 2nd, 3rd & 4th; more rehearsals following that then the concert on the 8th in Thousand Oaks & leave that night for a secret stopover before the concert on the 10th in Aurora.
Meanwhile I'm trying to answer mail & get a few Flight Plans ahead. Thanks to Ken in far off South Africa my head is sill above water, but stay with me on the 'mail front'. I'll get around to the stacks I haven't answered yet as soon as I can.
Hope life is a bit more tranquil for you these days and this weekend. Looking forward to seeing lots of you between the 2nd and 10th. Sleep warm.
