A Thought for Today
We have a special name for those people
who agree with us. We call them geniuses.

GOOD MORNING
It’s great to be home. Join me tomorrow when I’ll publish a new poem
written last week, announce several new appearances and most importantly
of all– for the sake of my own sanity– start catching up on recent mail.
But, for now, here’s a Flight from the Past.

FLIGHTS FROM6THE
PAST
27 November 1998
TODAY'S FLIGHT PLAN FOR THE SOUTHWEST
Turn left at Phoenix till you come to the fork in the road, make a hard
right (as the crow flies). Go about 400 miles give or take a hundred miles
until you see the windmill. Over the next hill there’s an old farm house,
pass it till you come to a grove of elm trees . . .head right for about 40
acres past an open field and you’ll spot a dirt road. Good place to get
out of the vehicle and relieve yourself behind the Oak tree. Head east for
about 40 miles and you’ll find you are there. Don’t forget to send a
postcard.
For the Northeast it’s somewhat the same as above but like Ginger Rodgers,
you do it backwards and in heels.
