SAGITTARIUS
NOVEMBER 23 - DECEMBER 21 |
|
Do you bridle when people say you
have a horse face? Every time you open your mouth do you put your hoof in it? Do you waste
time trying to swat flies off your neck with your tail? Youre a Sagittarius all
right! And, your best friends are probably twins named Jim and Gemini. Tell them to expect
a large check or a gallon of milk from a stranger. Dont ask. If you have a Taurus
buddy dont be surprised if people look at the two of you very strangely. Stellar
influences now, determine the caliber of your gains.
This is St. Clement's Day. On this day in 1585 the British organist and composer
died and ninety-nine years ago the first jukebox was installed in San Francisco. Today in
1903 Italian Opera star Enrico Caruso made his debut at the Metropolitan Opera. Two days
later he cut his first soon to be charted single and it was on its way by FedEx to San
Francisco.
In 1945 the U.S. government ended all rationing, except for sugar. Have a sweet Monday all
you centaurs and their significant others.

Studying the anatomy
is not enough. Doctors should be forced to learn the human heart.

Conscience is the only perfect climate.

Understanding yourself is freedom absolute.

Until all men and women become brothers and sisters, the gates
of heaven will continue to need periodic oiling and protection against rust. |

TWO POEMS FROM
"MOMENT TO MOMENT" |
|
In Case You
Didnt Know
Some days up ahead
will come down empty
and some years fuller
than the fullest one
weve known before.
Today has been
the best day yet.
I thought
you ought to know that,
and I thought it time
that I said thank you
for whatever might have
passed between us
that in your mind
you might have felt
missed my attention.
It didnt
and it doesnt
and it wont.
Thank you
for the everydays
that you make
into holidays.
I close up
more often now,
not just to you
but even to myself
within myself.
I know I should
be always open.
At least I ought to make
a better
try.
I will.
Had I the Courage of One
Some distance there is
between my back
and this new morning.
Had I the courage of one
Id turn you around.
Had I the courage of five
Id turn you around inside you
pulling all the dark earth
with me.
Had I the courage of ten
wed start so much together
that wed never have the time
to finish even one thing started.
Had I the courage of one hundred
Id stand back and look at you.
Thats all.
Moving away, moving away,
gone you are while yet arriving.
Had I the courage of one
Id run beside you or behind you.
Instead I run away.
So it is weve started out
on this new day together
to travel parallel paths
in opposite directions.
