Rod McKuen, as the most avid of his of fans throughout the world already know, has kept the lowest of profiles during the past decade or so. New projects such as the Golden Age of Music series of CD's for Laserlight have kept him busy with only the odd public appearance, in such shows as the tribute to Frank Sinatra at Carnegie Hall in 1997, the odd 'voice over' on a television ad or Disney series reminded "McKuenites" that he was still around and performing.

Fortunately the writing never stopped and a sample of his work during this period is published here for the first time. For those who have longed for some new McKuen material - read on and savour the latest from The Master. This material is taken from Rods' new book "A Safe Place to Land" which (we think) will be published early in 1999.

This site is Rod's gift to his many fans scattered throughout the world, his way of saying "Thank You" for the loyal support down the years. Content will be dictated by your needs. We've deliberately started off in a small way so that we can accommodate the suggestions and ideas which will no doubt be forthcoming. Let us know what you'd like to see and we'll try our very best to deliver.

Mail your ideas, suggestions or criticisms to: webmaster@mckuen.com
